The FreeFlight RAD-40 is a 1/2 3 ATI, panel-mounted digital
display which provides the pilot with an accurate readout of
aircraft altitude AGL, The RAD-40 has a selectable Decision Height
(DH) and includes five additional trip points.
Following a Long Beach, CA, incident in which a pilot and his
passengers were ramp checked at gun point by local law enforcement
officers and Customs and Border Protection officials, AOPA has
