Calling the chances of his following in his father's footsteps at
NASA "a statistical improbability," computer software designer
Richard Garriott opted to take an arguably easier route to the
stars... spending $30 million for a seat onboard a Soyuz capsule,
bound for the International Space Station in 2008.
"I can say this probably on behalf of 50 people, except
for my own dad who is my personal hero, 'Tex' Hill was the biggest
hero I ever had. Unquestioning integrity and loyalty, purpose,
determination, compassion."
