The British Columbia Aviation Museum is a major attraction on
Vancouver Island. It is located next to the Victoria International
Airport. In the Museum, there are many interesting aircraft,
engines, pictures, models and artefacts.
The altitude of an aircraft, determined by a radar-type radio
altimeter. It is the actual distance between the aircraft and the
nearest terrain feature.

Aerospatiale SA330J helicopter that crashed Dec. 15 at a forward
operating base in Afghanistan.
