safely landed the Beechcraft Bonanza transporting him and two
students to Vermont Wednesday evening after the plane's engine
failed. Denning landed the stricken aircraft on
Interstate 87... bringing the plane down right on the centerline,
and leaving less than three feet between wingtips and guardrails on
either side.
