Contrary to ATA's position, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association
President Phil Boyer says a lack of runway and taxiway space
throughout the nation's airports -- and the airlines' propensity to
schedule more arrivals and departures within a set amount of time
than those surfaces can handle -- are behind the delays... not a
lack of airspace.
