Takaaki Akuto, speaking to the Associated Press in Tokyo Tuesday,
on the upcoming test of Japan's next-generation SST. It's designed
to carry 300 passengers at better than Mach 2 and, if all goes
well, could by flying by 2020. EADS and Airbus, makers of the
now-retired Concorde, are part of the project. After a three-year
hiatus, a prototype is set to fly in the next month or so.
