Source: Yogendra Nath Sharma who runs security at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, after a caller said two aircraft would be hijacked on Tuesday. The caller said he wanted to collect a reward offered for information on terrorism. There were no hijackings and the phone number given by the caller turned out to be a fake. But the incident highlighted an ongoing airport security alert in India, where intelligence reports indicate Islamic fundamentalists might try to hijack a commercial aircraft and fly it to the Persian Gulf.
