Boeing announced Wednesday an order from Brazil's TAM Airlines
for four additional 777-300ERs brings to 1,003 the number of 777s
ordered since the first order of the popular widebody in 1990. The
new order also represents the 100th 777 order received to date for
2007.
The Wall Street Journal reports the Federal Aviation
Administration and Canada's Transportation Safety Board have placed
tight operating restrictions on older Bombardier (nee Canadair)
CRJ-100, -200, and -440 aircraft. Those types are in operation with
several North American commuter airlines.

Kuwait Airways' order for 19 new aircraft from Aviation Lease
