Blue Origin NS32 Mission Scheduled May 31

Mission Patch Unveiled

Blue Origin announced that its 12th human mission, New Shepard Mission 32 or NS-32, is scheduled to launch from Launch Site One in West Texas on Saturday May 31, 2025, with the launch window slated to open at 8:30 a.m. CDT / 13:30 UTC.

The webcast for NS-32 on will begin at T-30 minutes.

The crew members for the mission will be Aymette Medina Jorge, Dr. Gretchen Green, Jaime Aleman, Jesse Williams, Mark Rocket, and Paul Jeris.

Blue Origin also released the NS-32 mission patch and described the significance of some of the symbols embedded in the design:

Amy Medina Jorge is represented by the microchip, gears, and Pi symbols, reflecting her commitment to elevating Hispanic representation in STEM fields.

Dr. Gretchen Green is represented by the caduceus, recognizing her career as a radiologist specializing in women’s imaging.

Paul Jeris’ passion for space and exploration is represented by the planets inside the mission number.

Mark Rocket’s home country of New Zealand is represented by the kea parrot.

Jesse Williams is represented by the bike gears and Mt. Everest, showcasing his passion for cycling and climbing mountains.

Jaime Alemán’s philosophy behind pursuing his own goals – and supporting others in reaching theirs – represented by the blue sky.

Launch updates can be followed on the Blue Origin website as well as on its social channels X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, and YouTube.

This will be the 12th human flight for New Shepard, a fully reusable suborbital rocket system built for human flight from the start. Its flight typically lasts about 11 minutes during which astronauts experience several minutes of weightlessness as they ascend beyond the Karman line at roughly 100 km or 62 miles.

The crew capsule can accommodate six passengers and has expansive windows for passengers to observe awesome and sometimes life-changing views of our home planet.

Although not all agree, the Karman line is often considered the boundary of space, where the Earth’s atmosphere ends and space begins.
