May Speaks to NAA: '2007 Reauthorization: It’s Time for a
Change'
ANN Analysis: ATA Boss James May hasn't been
shy about his carrying water for the airline industry's desire to
see the rest of aviation pay user fees, but a recent speech spells
it out quite directly... and makes it clear to segments of the
aviation world that are being asked to pay more of the
burden, that the airline industry (which wants to pay less),
WANTS IT THAT WAY.

The daily accident reports often include some bizarre
description of incidents that have happened to our brothers and
sisters in flight... but this Cessna 175 (file photo, below) report
kinda takes the cake. I have no doubt there is FAR more to this
than the brief description lists, but let's face, when you lose
your firewall, you're having a REALLY bad day. Y'all be careful out
there...

It's getting nasty, folks... on second thought, it's BEEN
nasty.
There is arguably nothing cooler in the world of aviation than
the low fly-by. The sight -- and sound -- of a screaming warbird,
be it vintage or modern, buzzing a crowd at treetop-heights sends
shivers down the spine of almost any aero-head, and cheers to their
throat... but you have to have permission to do so.
