VGTel To Launch Youth-Focused Astronomy Pilot Program

Signs Letter Of Intent With Arizona Elementary School For Fall 2025

New York-based VGTel, Inc. announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with an elementary school in Arizona, launching its Youth Astronomy Pilot Program beginning with the Fall 2025 school year.

This initiative is part of the broader mission of VGTel to inspire and empower the next generation via space-based education. By bringing the universe and its amazing features to the classroom, VGTel’s aim is to spark curiosity and lay a foundation for lifelong learning in science, technology, engineering, and math; i.e., STEM subjects.

The program will provide students with real-time astronomy experiences during school hours and allow educators to tap into live galactic events and integrate them directly into their curriculum. VGTel’s system gives students front-row seats to the universe right in their classroom.

Ken Williams, CEO of VGTel, Inc. said, "We believe that access to the stars should not be limited by location or budget. By providing real-time astronomy tools and content, we’re not just teaching science, we’re inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and dreamers.”

To make it possible to view astronomical events during daytime, VGTel will host a dedicated telescope on the opposite side of the planet to enable North and South American classrooms to observe the night sky in real time while school is in session. VGTel will also deliver real-time and time-lapse photography via streaming from its U.S.-based solar camera.

These observing opportunities enable students to explore phenomena like solar flares and sunspots as well as asteroids, passing of the International Space Station, meteor showers, planetary sightings and conjunctions, lunar craters and phases, and even eclipses.

VGTel will provide streaming equipment to adapt to display monitors along with technical expertise and teacher guidance on how to incorporate the content into their STEM curriculum.
