Resurgent Enstrom Wants Fresh Faces

Helo Manufacturer Searching for Engineers, Managers, Mechanics

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is bouncing back under the “passionate ownership” (their words, not ours) of Chuck Surack and now looking for an infusion of fresh talent as it makes the most of its upswing.

The firm has continued plugging away on “exciting new rotorcraft models and features” as it addresses an “unprecedented level of product demand” from the helicopter market. Under Surack’s leadership, the company has more than 125 employees, but is ripe for expansion. Right now, Enstrom particularly wants “ skilled engineers, managers, mechanics, and more.”

“Enstrom helicopters are an industry-wide symbol of safety, innovation, and performance,” said Enstrom President and CEO Todd Tetzlaff. “We have decades of history, but we’re not content with relying on past achievements. We are looking for applicants who are eager to help Enstrom forge an even brighter future!” His circuitous career path is one example of the benefits of a small company. Tetzlaff joined the team as a design engineer, eventually working his way up to become the CEO proper.

“From the founding of Sweetwater to today, my philosophy has been, ‘always do the right thing,’” said Surack. “Employees across Surack Enterprises apply that philosophy to everything they do. That’s especially true here at Enstrom. The company’s collaborative, family atmosphere exemplifies what it means to be a Surack team member.” That references the larger Surack Enterprises family, the primary buyer of Enstrom when the company hit its dire straights a few years ago.
