The FAA has amended the type certificate for the 737 MAX to include the -9 variant, clearing the way for deliveries to begin quickly. This certification marks the culmination of a successful flight test program that began in March 2017 with two Boeing flight test airplanes. The FAA certification affirms that the airplane's handling, systems and overall performance all comply with required aviation regulations.

Claims He Was Performing Maneuvers To Avoid Collision With A Quadcopter At Low Altitude
A helicopter went down in the extreme southern portion of Daniel Island near North Charleston, SC Wednesday, and the pilot says he was maneuvering to avoid collision with a drone when the accident occurred.
