free "Heritage Family Day" themed around "Women in Aviation and
Space" on Saturday March 13, from 10am to 3pm.

The third Sukhoi Superjet 100 flight prototype SN95004 landed at
Yakutsk airport at 1424 local time Friday. The aircraft was flown
there to undergo cold soak trials.
Two Aircraft In The Running For Cost-Capped Contract
The Minister for Defence, Senator John Faulkner (pictured,
below), said Thursday that the Government has given first pass
approval for a major project to provide the Australian Defence
Force with a new naval combat helicopter.
Elbit Systems has been awarded a follow-on contract from the
Israeli Ministry of Defense for the continuation of the GROB
G-120-AI ("Snunit") trainer aircraft operation program, in service
at the Air Force Flight Academy in Hatzerim.

important part of the National Air and Space Museum's mission: to
educate and inspire visitors. Many astronauts, pilots and
engineers who participate in museum programs have told us that they
were inspired by the artifacts and exhibitions they saw here when
they were children."
