Oregon International Air Show Names Bill Braack As Board President

Long-Time President Judy Willey Is Retiring

Bill Braack has been named as the new president of the board of directors of the Oregon International Air Show. The appointment follows the retirement of Judy Willey, who had served in the role for 20 years.

Braack has been the director of operations for the show for the past three years.

The Oregonian reports that Braack started in the business as an air show promoter with the Three Rivers Air show in southwest Washington state in the early 1990s. He later became part of the Smoke-N-Thunder Jet Car Crew, and purchased that business in 2005.

Braack served in the Air Force Reserve for 20 years as a flight engineer. He holds an FAA flight engineer certificate and a private pilot certificate.

The 2015 edition of the show is set for July 17-19 at Hillsboro, OR airport, and will feature the Navy's Blue Angels.
