ForeFlight Mobile was the first and only aviation app in the Apple App Store when it opened on July 10, 2008.
The Stratus ADS-B platform, a partnership between Appareo, ForeFlight, and Sporty’s, earned the FLYING Magazine Editor’s Choice for the second year running in 2013.
ForeFlight makes its own data-driven airport diagrams for airports that don’t already have an FAA diagram. Because an airport should be without a diagram.
You can file your flight plan right from the ForeFlight Mobile app. You can also activate VFR flight plans; and amend, close, and cancel VFR and IFR flight plans from the app.
