Legacy Bombardier Sees Cabin Obsolescence solution for In-Flight Entertainment Suite
Flightstar Corporation and Alto Aviation have delivered the first Alto Cadence Cabin Management System for the Bombardier Learjet 45 series aircraft, tending the aircraft to its owner with the custom-tailored improvement.

The Cadence suite was installed with a series of cabin switch panels taken from the Alto lineup for perfect fit throughout the cabin. The curved and contoured seats were provided with formed panels all around, improving the built-in jacks with modern USB Type-C charging ports all around. The same attention to detail was seen throughout the lavatory and cockpit, with both locations receiving fit-compatible panels and switches.
The first delivery of a Lear 45 Cadence system marks the start of a new, ready-made replacement for operators of the type looking to bring their interior up to modern spec. With increasingly power-hungry laptops and tablets, Type-C charging capability is becoming a necessity for on-the-go passengers, making the small port an improvement that punches above its weight. The Cadence suite also adds a series of improved entertainment options, like HD monitors, moving maps, and sound quality improvements throughout the cabin

“Flightstar is excited to offer this ALTO Cadence™ CMS program to provide a solution for a known obsolescence equipment issue,” stated Rodd Caldwell, Flightstar Technical Sales Director. “This is an additional example of Flightstar’s commitment to extend the life of the Bombardier Learjet 45 series.”
“The team at Flightstar Corporation provided a professional and seamless installation with extremely close attention to detail. As part of this project, they also reworked the forward cabin bulkhead and installed a new HD monitor for the Airshow 500 moving map video that looks amazing. This successful Cadence™ CMS installation was the first of many for the Learjet 45 series to be completed by Flightstar. We are excited to partner on many more projects with Flightstar in the future,” stated Steve Lord, ALTO Aviation Senior Technical Sales Manager.
