A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk went down Wednesday near James Island in LaPush, Washington, fatally injuring three of the crew. The fourth crewmember survived the accident with non-life-threatening injuries.

FAA Deems FIFI is Airworthy. Phase I Flight Testing Can Begin

We came across this article describing the first use of radio navigation on an aircraft this week back in 1920. A Navy F-5-L flew 100 miles over the ocean and located a ship using just an AM radio.
