SpaceX And ATSB Announce New Launch Date For Razaksat Satellite

Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) and Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (ATSB) of Malaysia have announced an updated launch window for Falcon 1 Flight 5, carrying the RazakSAT satellite to orbit. The launch window opens Monday, July 13th and extends through Tuesday, July 14th, with a daily window to open at 1600 (PDT)/1900 (EDT).

Official: Navy Terminates VH-71 Contract

That's Pretty Much It... BuhBye!

 The Navy has announced that it will terminate the VH-71 System Development and Demonstration (SDD) program contract. The announcement follows a Department of Defense (DoD) decision to cancel the existing presidential helicopter replacement program. The VH-71 was intended to replace both the VH-3D and VH-60N aircraft currently used to conduct presidential support missions.

Paris Bound Jet Had Departed Rio De Janeiro

 ANN is monitoring multiple reports involving an Airbus A330-200 which is currently reported missing at a point some 354 km out over the Atlantic. The only supplemental info revolves around an 'automated' signal that indicates that the aircraft was having an electrical issue -- which some sources have attributed to a possible lightning strike.
