One Of Aviation World's Most Notable Flyers Loses 16 Year Old Son After Seizure

While there is not a lot of information available, Aero-News has learned that a tragedy has befallen a member of the aviation community with the horrific news that Pilot/Actor John Travolta's son, Jett (16) was pronounced dead after extensive efforts to revive him following a seizure.

Approved: MT Composite Propeller for Cessnas Approved

A new STC provides for the installation of the MT Propeller on most all Cessna's from the C180 through the 210 models. The approved model list (AML) includes turbos and most aircraft that have previously installed engine upgrades from popular shops like: P-Ponk, Texas Skyways, John Jewel, WipAire and others.

Continental Airlines pilots, represented by ALPA, tell ANN that they are pressing for a 'renewed focus on negotiations for a new contract.' The pilots' contract becomes amendable as of Dec. 31, 2008. Negotiations for a new contract first began back in July 2007.

Majestic Aerotech, a licensed FAA Part 145 and EASA Authorized Repair Station, is now a valued family member of companies operating under the AirCare Solutions Group.

"Splitting Orlando is only being done to give the illusion that the FAA is converting trainees into instant air traffic controllers. Orlando is very poorly staffed and by requiring those trainees to be certified to only work tower or radar operations creates the image of a properly staffed facility overnight. The FAA is using fuzzy math to give the flying public false reassurance. Splitting tower and radar functions at Orlando will be detrimental to the safety of the flying public. Air traffic controllers realize this and so does Congress."
