Cessna Taps Melillo To Head New ServiceDirect Maintenance Offering

He Brings More Than 27 Years Of Industry Experience To The Job

Cessna has named Matt Melillo general manager of its new ServiceDirect maintenance option. Melillo, former general manager of Cessna's Toledo Citation Service Center, will be based in Wichita, Kansas, and report to Stan Younger, vice president, Cessna Citation Service Facilities.

ServiceDirect is a new offering designed to provide a range of customer service options for Citation operators outside of the company's service centers. This includes on-site maintenance operations and long-term logistics support including A&P placement or contract support.

"Matt is superbly qualified to move our new ServiceDirect program forward, owing to more than 26 years with Cessna in a variety of customer-focused service positions," said Younger. "His experience with our service center network kept him in direct contact with our customers, and that is the focus of this new role - making sure the customer comes first."

Through ServiceDirect, Citation owners will not only have a wider range of maintenance options, but a choice of where they want service performed. Among the ServiceDirect service options under Melillo's direction will be the growing fleet of Mobile Service Units and AOG support through Cessna's dedicated Air Response Team - a Cessna Citation dedicated to AOG parts delivery.

Melillo has more than 27 years of industry experience, spending most of his Cessna career at the company's former Toledo maintenance center.
