AviaAM Leasing Delivers Another Boeing 737 For Lease

Russian Carrier Aurora Takes Delivery Of The -500 Model

AviaAM Leasing, an aviation holding company engaged in commercial aircraft acquisition, leasing and sales, has recently delivered the second Boeing 737-500 aircraft to Russian Far East airline Aurora.

Prior to the aircraft’s delivery, AviaAM Leasing has conducted a comprehensive set of works, including C-Check, cabin refurbishment and livery change. The Boeing 737-500 aircraft, being fully customized in accordance with the carrier’s requirements, has been delivered   to Aurora’s main base at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport (UUS), Russia.

AviaAM Leasing says the deal is expanding its cooperation with the CIS market players and support the development of such fast growing regional carriers as Aurora.

Aurora, a newly established regional Russian airlines brand, was formed by its parent company – Aeroflot-Russian Airlines – by amalgamating SAT Airlines and Vladivostok Avia. Currently, the Aurora’s fleet consists of 14 aircraft, including Airbus A319 and Boeing 737 as well as regional Bombardier Q200/Q300 aircraft. In less than five years Aurora plans to expand its fleet to 40 aircraft.
