Lee County MEDSTAR Picks Becker DVCS6100

Digital Audio System To Be Integrated Into Bell 430

Lee County MEDSTAR has decided on Becker Avionics' DVCS6100 Digital Audio System for integration into their recently acquired Bell 430 twin-engine helicopter. The aircraft is currently undergoing completion at Sarasota Avionics and will be specifically tailored to their needs.

DVCS6100

The DVCS6100 was chosen due to its ability to effectively manage and control all audio sources in the helicopter. Becker's Digital multichannel audio and intercom system, with its software configurable profiles, provides the flexibility to specifically customize the system to meet the demanding operational requirements of Lee County MEDSTAR. The DVCS6100 manages all transceivers, receivers and audio warning sources in one central system and provides simulcast capabilities on 8 channels.

Rob Fulton, Director of Operations for Lee County MEDSTAR, said "Becker's DVCS6100 is well suited to support our air medical operations. The excellent Man-Machine-Interface, outstanding field reliability, the possibility to transmit on up to 8 channels, along with its crystal-clear audio quality made the DVCS6100 our audio system of choice on our new Bell 430 helicopter. We wanted to outfit our new EMS helicopter with some of the best avionics technology available, that's why we selected the Becker product."

Brett Gardner, Director of Sales and Marketing at Becker Avionics, commented, "We are very proud that Lee County MEDSTAR selected our product, further confirming that our aircraft Digital Audio system is gaining broad acceptance throughout the US air medical community". He continued, "Becker Avionics is the brand leader in aircraft Digital Audio and intercom solutions for Helicopter and Fixed-Wing aircraft applications, along with being one of our best selling products as well."
