Williams Int’l Expands Production To Florida

Record Demand Drives Growth, First Facility Operational 2026

Williams International announced the groundbreaking on its new advanced production facility in Okaloosa County, Florida, in a ceremony attended by over 150 people including stakeholders and local, county, and state officials. The initial project is a 1-million-square-foot facility for production of its turbofan engines as well as future product lines.

This is the first facility for Williams in Okaloosa County and is expected to be completed and fully operational by the end of 2026. Construction of additional square footage is planned to continue through 2035-36.

John Sordyl, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience for Williams International said, “Williams is extremely fortunate to have record demand for our products today, and exponentially growing opportunities for the future. And this new facility, along with the extremely talented workforce in Okaloosa County, is an essential and enabling part of that bright future.”

Williams International is based in Pontiac, Michigan, and is a well-known designer and manufacturer of gas turbine engines with a leading reputation for customer support. It is also known for its highly integrated and automated manufacturing facilities that produce high-quality, high-volume production and on-schedule delivery of its growing family of commercial and military products.

The company’s reliable and easy-to-maintain engines are used to power a variety of light jets, missiles, UAVs, and experimental aircraft.
