The Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) successfully completed a critical swing-by maneuver of the moon at 5:20 a.m. PDT on June 23. Compass Course is a bearing as indicated by the horizontal angle between the compass needle and the centerline of the aircraft.
