Linden Blue Among Speakers At "Spectrum Of Aviation"
Meeting
The Lindbergh Foundation announced
Monday three prominent leaders from the aviation community will
speak at its "Spectrum of Aviation" hangar party at the Golden
Wings Museum at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine, MN on Saturday,
September 27.
Linden Blue of Spectrum Aeronautical will be on hand to discuss
his company's upcoming, fuel-efficient jets. Forward Vision
president Patrick Farrell will discuss his company’s
forward-looking infrared technology for restricted visibility
conditions like smoke, fog, and snow, while Larry Williams of BRS
will speak about his company’s aircraft parachutes... which
to date have saved 214 lives.
In addition, legendary flight instructors John and Martha King,
of King Schools, Inc., will be in attendance along with Greg
Herrick, the owner of Golden Wings Museum, and Miles O’Brien,
CNN Correspondent, who will also serve as Master of
Ceremonies.
"This hangar party will give aviation enthusiasts a chance to
appreciate the full spectrum of aviation -- old and new -- in the
nostalgic atmosphere of one of the largest collections of Golden
Age Aircraft in the country," said Lindbergh Foundation Knox
Bridges. "With the addition of these great speakers, this party is
taking on a new role as a forum for education about the latest
innovations in aviation. The BRS rocket launch is certain to add to
the fun."
The Lindbergh Foundation also plans to have a limited supply of
Spirit Leather Flight Jackets from the new exclusive line of
aviation-themed clothing from Orvis available for sale.
There will be a buffet-style pig roast dinner, cash bar, program
and auction. Tickets to this event are $31 per person, representing
the Foundation’s 31st anniversary. Reservations may be
made on-line.
