AdvAero Piaggio Avanti First To Be Equipped For LPV

Universal Avionics' WAAS/SBAS-FMS Recently Installed On the Airplane

A Piaggio P.180 Avanti belonging to Advanced Aerospace Solutions (AdvAero) has become the first of the airplanes to be outfitted with Universal Avionic's WAAS/SBAS-capable UNS-1Ew Flight Management System (FMS) and LP/LPV Monitor. Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2), a Universal Avionics Authorized Dealer, performed the upgrade at their Toronto, Canada, Pearson International Airport location.
