The splendid machine will be on static display from 24 through 30 July at Booths 277-285. Launch Window for 2nd Virgin Galactic Spaceflight Announced

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. announced that the flight-window for its Galactic 02 mission will open on 10 August. Subject mission, if launched, will be the company’s seventh spaceflight, second commercial spaceflight, and third spaceflight in 2023. NTSB Releases Preliminary Report on June 2023 Cessna 180 Accident

Pilot and Single Passenger Killed in Alaska Mishap

The NTSB has released its preliminary report on a 16 June 2023 accident in which a Cessna 180, registration N91361, was substantially damaged and its pilot and single passenger killed. The aircraft was operated as a non-scheduled charter flight under Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. The accident-aircraft was operated by Golden Eagle Outfitters, Inc. and dispatched to pick up four hunters from a remote airstrip and fly such to Unalakleet Airport (UNK) in west-central Alaska.

NTSB Prelim: Velocity Velocity XL

The Pilot Told First Responders That He Experienced A Total Loss Of Engine Power.

On June 27, 2023, at 1012 central daylight time, a Velocity XLRG airplane, N340XL, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The pilot was seriously injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.According to the pilot’s son, the pilot departed the Flying Machines Airstrip (AR08) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on June 24, 2023, and flew to the Lawton-Fort Sill Regional Airport (KLAW) in Lawton, Oklahoma.
