In and amongst all the brightly appointed wings and rotors seen
at the recently concluded 2011 US Sport Aviation Expo, the folks of
Remos Aircraft were doing their best to make a case for their flock
of LSAs. In 2011, they were focusing a lot of attention on their
Remos GX, the successor to the previous G-3 variant.
The $127,900 (base price) GX boasts some significant
improvements over its predecessor, including a new carbon fiber
wing, new fuselage design, a number of enhanced safety features,
extended luggage space, a standard ground-adjustable propeller, and
night VFR Certification.
It is powered by a 100HP 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid/air cooled
Rotax 912 UL-S. The company claims that the GX can handle two full
size adults, bags, with full fuel and offer 6 hours endurance with
a 480nm range.
