CG Helicopters Based In South Florida
CG Helicopters, Robinson Helicopter Company’s recently
named dealer in South Florida, will soon take delivery of two new
R44 helicopters: a Raven II (N3024L) and a Raven I (N3245S). The
helicopters are on display in the Robinson booth at Heli-Expo
2007, now underway in Orlando, FL.
Both aircraft were flown from the Robinson factory in Southern
CG Helicopters purchased the new R44 Ravens for training and
demonstration uses. Robinson told ANN Wednesday that CG Helicopters
favors the R44 for training due its forgiving hydraulic controls,
good autorotation characteristics, and fast cruise speed.
The R44 Raven II is painted taupe frost pearl metallic with deep
jewel green trim and has a tan leather interior. It is outfitted
with air conditioning, Garmin GPS 500 pilot-side console,
artificial horizon, and Garmin GNS420 GPS. The R44 Raven I is
finished in Robinson white, trimmed in dark green, and has a tan
velour interior. It is equipped with a King KY197A radio, and
Garmin 150XL GPS.
Owned and managed by David Clark and Rick Guthery, CG
