Airborne 11.20.19: Jabiru J430, Last Hindenburg Survivor, Aspen E5 Cert

One of the more intriguing bits of news coming out of the recent DeLand Sport Aviation Showcase was US Sport Planes’s Scott Severen revelation to ANN that the Jabiru J430 will soon be available in kit form. The Jabiru J430 aircraft have been developed as touring aircraft with a wide cockpit, high cabin and ample leg room, and three human sized doors. The Jabiru J430 cruises at 120 knots on 6 -7.5 GPH. The Jabiru Airframe kits are manufactured using Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) technologies. It is a system which offers light weight at the same time as high structural integrity. Fiji Airways has become the first airline from the South Pacific region to take delivery of the A350 XWB, the world’s most modern all-new wide-body aircraft. The A350-900, which was delivered following a ceremony in Toulouse, is the first of two A350 XWBs that will join Fiji Airways’ fleet. Both aircraft are being leased from Dubai-based DAE Capital. The aircraft are the first to be directly purchased by DAE Capital from Airbus.

NTSB Releases Preliminary Report From OV-1 Accident In Florida

The NTSB has released its preliminary report from an accident which occurred November 1 involving a Grumman OV-1D which was participating in the Audi Stuart Airshow. CAE And Sunwing Airlines Extend Pilot Training Agreement
