Company Seeking Primary And Secondary Installation STCs
Xerion Avionix told ANN Tuesday the company recently received
Federal Aviation Administration Technical Standard Order (TSO)
authorization for its AuRACLE I & II Engine management
Systems.
"Achieving FAA certification is a tremendous accomplishment for
our design team," said Wayne Carl, Xerion Avionix president.
"Xerion has breached the status quo. Being a new manufacturer and
certifying a leading-edge class of product, Xerion was subject to
intense FAA scrutiny during the certification process. Xerion was
successful in achieving both TSO authorization and manufacturing
approval in what amounts to, relatively speaking, a short period of
time. We are very proud of our design and management teams. This
accomplishment is representative of the expertise of our design
team, quality of our product line, and our company in general."
The AuRACLE Engine Management system has been certified under
TSO-C43c, -C44b, -C45a, -C47, -C49b, and –C113. These
certifications allow the AuRACLE to directly replace the legacy
engine instrumentation in certificated light aircraft.
The AuRACLE will be
installed as a primary system in certificated aircraft under
one of the pending STC certifications Xerion is currently pursuing.
Retrofit STCs are being sought for all major aircraft types.
Xerion representatives state the AuRACLE shortens the scan
required by scattered and outdated steam gages by providing a
localized and innovative display. The AuRACLE displays engine data
on a 5.0" sunlight-readable LCD display, and offers military-grade
reliability.
AuRACLE list pricing starts at less than $5,000 and is currently
available directly from Xerion Avionix or any Xerion Avionix
authorized dealer.
