Installation Approved On Six Aircraft Models, With A Seventh In The Works
Duncan Aviation’s Engineering & Certification Services department is pleased to announce that it has six completed Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for the Gogo AVANCE L5 wi-fi system and has three more in work, to be completed in 2020. All six of the completed STCs have received approval from Transport Canada (TCCA).
“We are grateful for our more than 20-year partnership with Duncan Aviation,” says David Salvador, Vice President of Aftermarket Sales for Gogo Business Aviation. “As one of Gogo’s top MROs, Duncan Aviation continues to lead the industry in developing quality, full-equipment STCs for Gogo inflight entertainment and connectivity hardware platforms, as well as providing top-notch installations for our mutual customers.”
To date, Duncan Aviation has developed six STCs for the Gogo AVANCE L5 wi-fi system, and there are more currently in process. The more than 100 STCs the Engineering and Certification Services teams have developed are housed in the company’s STC Library, and all are available immediately. Search by Aircraft, STC Category or view the entire list. If you don’t see an STC for your make and model or for your specific need, call the Manager of Engineering & Certification Business Development Shawn Carraher at 402.479.4201.
“A good percentage of the requests for quotes we’ve been getting are for connectivity, and we expect demand to remain strong throughout 2020,” says Regional Avionics Sales Manager John Spellmeyer.
The makes/models for which Duncan Aviation has AVANCE L5 STCs include:
- Gulfstream G-IV, GIV-X
- Bombardier CL-600-2B16 (Challenger 600 series, including 604, 605, and 650)
- Dassault Falcon 2000/2000EX
- Dassault Falcon 900/900EX
- Bombardier BD-700-1A10/Bombardier BD-700-1A11 (Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 6000, 5000, 5000 GVFD)
- Bombardier BD-100-1A10 (Challenger 300, 350)
A seventh STC is currently in development, and expected in April 2020 for the Cessna 680 (Sovereign).
