A J Walter Aviation And Its Partners Win 5-Year Deal

Thomas Cook Airlines has awarded A J Walter Aviation a multi-million dollar contract to provide component power-by-the-hour and leasing support for its A320 and A330 family aircraft based in the UK and Scandinavia. Winning this long-term 5 year agreement is yet another step forward for AJW who led a partnership of BA Engineering and Iberia Maintenance & Engineering to deliver successfully on what was a comprehensive requirement.

The contract covers Thomas Cook Airlines' A320 and A330 family operations in the UK and Scandinavia. The contract, which kicks in January 1, 2011 is made up of seven A330s, ten A321s, and a dozen A320s.
