CAE Expands Its Pilot Training Capacity In Phoenix

New CAE-Built Bombardier CRJ900 Full-Flight Simulator Is Ready For Training To Support Regional Airline Customers

CAE announced at the 42nd Regional Airline Association (RAA) Annual Convention the deployment of a new Bombardier CRJ900 full-flight simulator in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, which is now ready for training. The new CAE 7000XR Series FFSs will be equipped with the CAE Tropos 6000XR visual system, offering unprecedented realism. Furthermore, a CAE-built Embraer ERJ-145 full-flight simulator will be delivered at the centre by the end of the year. CAE is increasing its training footprint in Phoenix to support the growing pilot training needs of its North American customers, including Endeavor Air and Mesa Airlines.

"We are pleased to increase our pilot training capacity in Phoenix to support the training needs of our long-standing partners," said Nick Leontidis, CAE's Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. "This expansion is a testament to our commitment to provide our airline partners with an excellent training experience, including high-quality training equipment and professional CAE instructors."

With this training equipment addition, the CAE Phoenix Training Centre will provide pilot training for Bombardier CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900 and Embraer ERJ 145 platforms, bringing the total number of simulators available to four.
