Banyan Names Alvie Barron Director Of North American Sales

Will Be Responsible For Promoting Company's Services

Banyan Air Service, based at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE), recently announced the appointment of Alvie Barron as Director North American Sales. Barron has over 20 years of aircraft maintenance, refurbishment and modification experience and previously held positions with Jet Aviation, General Dynamics, Bombardier, and Hawker/Beech.

"We are excited about Alvie joining the Banyan team! Alvie is a seasoned professional and is a critical piece of our strategic plan to extend our reach into the global marketplace and beyond!" said Paul Rose, Banyan's Vice President of Technical Sales.

In his new role at Banyan, Barron responsible for promoting Banyan's avionics and maintenance departments, which includes comprehensive aircraft maintenance services, including heavy airframe maintenance and engine maintenance, structural repairs and modifications, and avionics installations and support.

Banyan's avionics and maintenance departments specialize in King Air, Citation, Hawker, Learjet and Pilatus aircraft. In addition, the avionics department provides services for other mid-sized aircraft and larger aircraft, such as, Gulfstream, Falcon, Bombardier and Boeing aircraft.

Banyan's avionics department has dedicated hangar space, a structural team, and technicians available for comprehensive avionics installations, repairs and modifications. Banyan is recognized for top regional sales for Rockwell Collins, has earned FAA Diamond Awards, and is an authorized dealer for all major avionics manufacturers.
