Will Support 120 Helos

Acrohelipro Global Services says it's now a a partner with L-3 Vertex on their recent one year contract award which allows for four, one year options, to provide Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) for the US Navy fleet of 120 TH57 rotary wing aircraft based at Naval Air Station (NAS) Whiting Field. The contract has a value of approximately $12M per year.

Acro as part of the contract will perform structural, dynamic component and engine maintenance in their role as a supplier to L3-Vertex. Work will be performed by Acro at their facility in Andalusia, Alabama.

"We have been working with L-3 Vertex since 2002 on the prior version of this contract and are absolutely delighted to have again been selected by them to help support this CLS program," said Mike Winters, General Manager of Acrohelipro, Andalusia.

"We developed an outstanding teaming relationship with Acrohelipro on the previous contract to support the TH-57 fleet," said Ron Hudson, L-3 Vertex TH-57 program manager. "Acrohelipro does great work and is a very important part of our team. We look forward to continuing this relationship."
