Greenwich Aerogroup Grows Support Capabilities In The Rotorcraft Business

Four Separate Companies Offer Rotorcraft Services

Greenwich AeroGroup says it is headed into next week's Heli Expo in Orlando, FL, with one thing in mind - to inform operators regarding the multitude of capabilities and services their companies have to offer.

"Greenwich AeroGroup is fully committed to serving the needs of rotorcraft operators," said President and CEO of Greenwich AeroGroup James Ziegler. "Our companies are making substantial investments in inventory, component repair and overhaul, maintenance and repair capabilities and people to position ourselves to meet operator requirements today and into the future."

Four Greenwich AeroGroup companies now offer rotorcraft capabilities.  These companies include Summit Aviation in Middletown, DE, DAC International in Austin, TX, Professional Aviation Associates in Atlanta, GA, and Professional Aircraft Accessories in Titusville, FL.

Summit Aviation recently announced that construction is well underway on their $12 million expansion which includes a new hangar and full strip and paint capabilities to support rotorcraft maintenance services for various United States government departments including defense and international military aircraft, and special mission aircraft. The expansion also frees up space to serve the growing list of civil helicopter customers at Summit Aviation

DAC International in Austin, TX has been providing rotorcraft avionics solutions to the market for the last 30 years in partnership with companies such as Northrop Grumman Litef GmbH, Shadin Avionics, Heads Up Technologies and Cobham HeliSAS.

Professional Aviation Associates has launched into the business with an initial investment of   $1 million in rotables and airframe parts inventory to support a wide range of helicopter platforms this year.  And Professional Aircraft Accessories is expanding its capabilities with a half of a million dollar investment in Transmission Test Cell checks.

"Our long term strategy is to position ourselves as a leader in customer service, and a provider of solutions in the rotorcraft industry," said Ziegler.  "And we are well on our way to accomplishing that."
