Beechcraft Augsburg Named First 400XT European Service Center

Also Announces Opening Of New Service Centers In Chicago And Dallas

Nextant Aerospace has entered into an agreement with Beechcraft Sales and Service GmbH (Beechcraft Augsburg) to open the first factory-approved service center in Europe for Nextant-manufactured aircraft. Nextant also announced Monday at the NBAA convention in Las Vegas Monday that it has entered into agreements with Emery Air, Inc. to provide service for the 400XT in the Chicago area and with Jet Works Air Center to provide service in the Dallas area.

Speaking at the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) 64th Annual Meeting and Convention, Nextant Aerospace President Jim Miller said, “Beechcraft Augsburg has a long history and excellent service reputation in Europe, and we are excited to have it designated as our first international service center. We are especially pleased with the timing of this agreement, since two of our earliest deliveries of the Nextant 400XT will be going to European operators. This service network expansion ensures that our customers will have global access to factory-approved service, just as they would when purchasing a new aircraft from any manufacturer.”

Nextant presently operates maintenance centers in Teterboro, NJ, West Palm Beach, FL, Las Vegas, NV, Sacramento, CA, Birmingham, AL, and, Cleveland, OH, where it operates two separate facilities. The addition of Beechcraft Augsburg, Emery Air and Jet Works Air Center expands the service network to ten locations in the U.S. and Europe.

Miller added, “The agreements with Emery Air and Jet Works Air Center to provide service for the 400XT in Chicago and Dallas, respectively, expands our service footprint in two key U.S. markets. These companies have long-standing reputations as premier service providers among current Hawker 400 owners and operators. We expect that the availability of top-notch, factory-approved service centers will be an added attraction for buyers.”

Based at Augsburg Airport in the greater Munich area, Beechcraft Augsburg is the largest maintenance organization for Hawker Beechcraft aircraft in Europe. This makes it particularly qualified to service the 400XT, which is based on a remanufactured airframe from the Beechjet 400A/XP aircraft.

“We have a 35-year record of providing service that meets the highest standards of technical efficiency, quality and reliability. We are proud that Nextant Aerospace has selected us to provide maintenance, repair and other services for the Nextant 400XT, and look forward to meeting the needs of the owners of this remarkable aircraft,” said Beechcraft Augsburg Managing Director Hans Obermeier.

Emery Air, founded in 1958 and based at Chicago-Rockford International Airport, is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and repair, avionics and full fixed-base operation (FBO) service and support. Jet Works Air Center, founded in 1996 and based in Denton, Texas in proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, provides a full range of maintenance, interior refurbishing, VIP completions, avionics and paint services.
