ANN Hosts Industry Experts For Annual Aero-TV LIVE Coverage of AEA2014

Innovators and Experts All: Phil Boyer, Jerry Gregoire and Alan Klapmeier Will Join ANN As Guest Commentators

The Aero-News Network, the long-time partner partner with the Aircraft Electronics Association, is preparing yet another new addition to their aggressive programming roster for the March 12-15 AEA 2014 Convention and Trade Show in Nashville, TN.

In addition to the hundreds of stories, and dozens of hours of follow-up Aero-TV and AeroCast podcasts, ANN produces an unprecedented 10 hours of live web programming during this pivotal event.

The lead-off program for ANN's LIVE Aero-TV programming is the annual AEA "NPI." The AEA 'New Product Introductions' session always is one of the most-popular sessions at the annual AEA Convention, and it has quickly evolved into a must-see, cornerstone showcase. The event is the primary launching pad for companies to unveil the latest and greatest in new avionics products and services coming to market for the current year, and more and more industry leaders are taking notice (and watching it LIVE... one way or another!).

Two other LIVE Aero-TV programs will follow the NPI (Thursday and Friday afternoons... schedule details pending). The 3+ hour sessions will offer expert insight and commentary on the NextGen GA Fund Program - Opportunities and Responsibilities, The Best of the 2014 NPI - A Closer Look At The Top Products We Saw At The NPI, A 2014 Regulatory Update (featuring AEA's Ric Peri, among others) and our annual Innovation Panel(s) -- featuring a close look at Emerging Technologies for the Avionics community -- and much more.

Since the Avionics industry has such a decisive effect on the rest of the aviation world, ANN sought the most innovative and insightful industry experts to assist with, and guide, ANN's unparalleled coverage.

And, yes, we stacked the deck with the BEST folks we could find. Three of them, to be precise.

No stranger to ANYONE in GA, Phil Boyer is an active GA Pilot, the past President of the AOPA and one of the most respected aviation industry spokesman of the last few decades.

Redbird Flight Simulation's Jerry Gregoire has turned the flight training community upside down with some innovative products as well as some extraordinary experiments that have brought new insight to what this industry needs to do to insure a more positive future.

Kestrel Aircraft CEO, Alan Klapmeier, was the genius behind the development of the Cirrus SR20 and SR22 and is in the process of building a new GA company based around an innovative single-engine turboprop and logs hundreds of hours a year as a GA Pilot, himself.

Along with the staff of ANN, these renowned pilots and aero-statesmen will offer extensive coverage of the fast-paced world that is the avionics industry... and the many ways that the AEA community impacts the international transportation system.

The ten hours of Aero-TV live coverage, including the NPI, represents a tightly focused time period in which more 'real news' is made in a few 'rapid-fire' hours than we see in the course of an average news-day (or week).

Live high-definition coverage of the AEA Opening Ceremonies and New Product Introductions begins at 8:30 a.m. Central Time (09:30 a.m. Eastern Time) on Thursday, March 13th, by the Aero-News Network. Coverage from Nashville will continue from the AEA Exhibit Hall on Thursday and Friday afternoons.

AEA members and company personnel with programming suggestions and new product information are welcome to contact ANN CEO/Editor-in-Chief (jim@aero-news.net), Jim Campbell, to offer their availability and information for consideration -- but please do so quickly -- interview slots are filling FAST.

FMI: Viewers around the world may watch the live coverage at www.aea.net/convention and www.aero-news.net/live.
