CAE will soon expand its offerings in Central Europe, with an upcoming center sporting 6 full-flight simulators. The exact city for the new CAE spot has not yet been divulged past a vague promise of "Central Europe", but should be open in the latter half of 2024, offering advanced pilot training for carriers throughout the region. The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) was created in 1988 at the initiative of 100 colleges and universities with aviation programs who recognized the need to establish standards and submit themselves to the review of their peers and the industry. Its purpose is to serve as the official accrediting body for all collegiate aviation.
Pilot's Discretion
When used in conjunction with altitude assignments, means that ATC has offered the pilot the option of starting climb or descent whenever he/she wishes and conducting the climb or descent at any rate he/she wishes. He/she may temporarily level off at any intermediate altitude. However, once he/she has vacated an altitude, he/she may not return to that altitude.
