EAA President Tom Poberenzy Says Oshkosh Is Strong, Advance Ticket
Sales Up 33 Percent
By all indications, AirVenture 2009 will exceed expectations for
attendence by visitors and aircraft. EAA President Tom Poberenzy
said on opening day that advance ticket sales were up 33 percent,
the campsight has spilled over into the overflow area, the North 40
has been temporarily closed, and all expectations on attendence
look like they will be exceeded by a significant margin.
Garmin International Inc. Monday announced the features of the
G3X, a non-TSO'd glass cockpit for retrofit installation in
experimental/kitbuilt and light sport aircraft (LSA). The G3X is a
customizable PFD/MFD combination that features one, two or three
all-glass displays.

Wichita, Kansas-based Belite Aircraft makes its debut at the
annual EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI this week by announcing
pricing and availability for two versions of the Belite aircraft,
the Belite 254 Kit with carbon fiber wings and the Belite 254
Classic Kit with wood and aluminum wings in either fully-assembled
or kit form.
