As a result of the uncertainty of the storm's track, intensity
and issues with the main provider of tents and associated
equipment, the US Sport Aviation Expo has been postponed to January
11th, 2006.
A perusal of the first rounds of court documents filed in the
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy of Skystar Aircraft reveals a company that was
dealing with massive debt and some business practices that appear,
at the least, problematic.
Aero-News was saddened to learn from one of our readers that
Graham Lee -- noted designer of, among others, the Nieuport 11
WWI-replica homebuilt biplane -- died unexpectedly earlier this
month after a brief bout with cancer. He was 82.
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2005 one of the best gatherings in the
event's history, is now chronicled by the organization on video and
DVD. This one certainly deserves consideration as a fixture on the
ol' media shelf.
