After once being labeled "all but dead" before a massive
program overhaul, approval has just been granted by the US Defense
Department for Full Rate Production (FRP) of the Bell Boeing V-22
Osprey tiltrotor aircraft.
The latest upgrade to the MQ-1 Predator, known as the
Multi-Aircraft Control, or MAC system, entered operational testing
with the first two-ship and four-ship Predator sorties being flown
over a four-day period.
