Efforts to evacuated thousands of people from the Louisiana
Superdome in New Orleans were quickly suspended Thursday morning,
after someone near the building fired shots at a military
helicopter.
Within hours after Hurricane Katrina slammed into the Gulf
Coast, Air Force Reserve Command people and aircraft were headed
toward disaster areas to help survivors.
A 36-year old South Korean man convicted of selling Black Hawk
helicopter engines to China will spend nearly three years in a
federal prison for his efforts. Kwonhwan "Howard" Park was
sentenced in a New Haven, CT, federal court on Tuesday.
NATO Contract Calls For Development Of European Theater Missile
