Air Force officials have released the names of the Barksdale AFB
crew members of the
B-52 that crashed July 21 off Guam's northwest
coast. Five of the six crew members were stationed at
the Louisiana base.
Expects Up To 50 More AS350B3s To Customs & Border
Protection
American Eurocopter LLC, a subsidiary of EADS North America,
announced this week it has been awarded a contract with the
Department of Homeland Security to provide US Customs and Border
Protection with additional AS350B3s.
The advanced Aerial Refueling Boom System (ARBS) destined for
the Northrop Grumman/EADS KC-45 Tanker has performed multiple
aerial contacts with an operational Airborne Warning and Control
System (AWACS) aircraft, confirming its ability to support large
aircraft in US, NATO, and allied air forces.
