CPI Awarded Contract To Replace Warthog Wings

Will Produce 242 "Enhanced" Wings For A-10s

CPI Aerostructures, Inc. was awarded a long-term requirements contract this week of approximately $70 million to provide various assemblies to Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems unit in support of its recent $2 billion award to produce up to 242 enhanced wings for the A-10 Thunderbolt (or "Warthog")attack jet.

737-Based Naval Test Aircraft To Be Delivered In 2009

Boeing tells ANN the company installed two CFM56-7B engines on the US Navy's first P-8A Poseidon June 21 in Renton, WA. The on-schedule assembly comes shortly after the aircraft's wing-to-body mate and "power on" milestones.
