Maj. John Teichert, a 411th Flight Test Squadron test pilot,
pushed an F/A-22 Raptor past Mach 1, opened the weapons bay and
released a guided bomb unit-32 1,000-pound joint direct attack
munition, marking the first time a Raptor has dropped a JDAM at
supersonic speed.

World War II comes alive just off the Warbird flight line at
AirVenture 2005. This is not another aircraft display but a
recreation of a 9th Air Force Army Air Force Base in Italy sometime
between 1942 and 1944.
Almost two weeks after its original launch date, NASA’s
Discovery Shuttle is scheduled for its return to flight July 26,
but they are not doing it alone.
