change his status once again.
An accident investigation board determined that a flight control
system deficiency caused an F/A-22 Raptor aircraft mishap Sept. 28
near Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.
The next ten years will see continued growth in purchases of new
fighter aircraft. Outside North America and Western Europe, this
will especially be the case in Asia where up to $7 billion may be

Raytheon Company has received a $200 million contract from the
US Air Force for continued production of the AIM-120 Advanced
Medium-Range Air-to-Air missile (AMRAAM). The contract, originally
announced by the Department of Defense on Dec. 22, 2004, includes
