The Firebird is equipped with a tailored version of Garmin’s touchscreen-controlled integrated flight deck system, leveraging the attributes of the company's commercial avionics technology to yield a highly capable Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution.
EADS North America Will Deliver 34 Additional Helos From MS Manufacturing Plant
The U.S. Army has awarded EADS North America a $181.8 million contract option to deliver 34 additional UH-72A Lakota helicopters, bringing the total aircraft ordered to date to 312. Army plans call for procuring 347 Lakotas through 2016.

A Grand Jury in the Southern District of New York returned a six-count Indictment charging Alireza Moazami Goudarzi, an Iranian national, with various offenses related to a scheme to illegally export military and civilian aircraft parts from the United States to Iran.
